General Assistant (Temporary Position)

Position Overview:

We seek a proactive General Assistant to maintain high standards of cleanliness and office organization at our Head Office. This temporary position requires an organized individual with excellent attention to detail to ensure efficient office operations through effective maintenance and cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive cleaning of all office areas including floors, carpets, furniture, doors, and partitions
  • Manage cleaning inventory and ensure adequate stock levels
  • Execute daily cleaning schedules with minimal operational disruption
  • Handle catering coordination and refreshment service
  • Maintain and report on cleaning equipment status
  • Monitor office environment for maintenance requirements
  • Provide exceptional internal customer service

Essential Requirements:

  • Matric/Grade 12 certificate
  • Minimum 1-year professional cleaning/housekeeping experience
  • Knowledge of floor/carpet maintenance techniques
  • Effective communication skills
  • Inventory management capabilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Customer service orientation
