Job Overview

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner (TA BP) will lead the design and execution of a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for the entire business. This role combines hands-on recruitment skills with strong leadership abilities. You will manage a team of talent consultants, ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently, and align your work with the company’s overall talent management goals.

As a TA BP, you will play a key role in supporting business growth. This means helping the company attract, hire, and keep the best talent. You will work closely with business leaders to predict future workforce needs, assist with succession planning, and put best practices in place.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Leadership and Team Management

  • Manage and mentor a team of Talent Consultants. You should have 3–5 years of experience in leading teams.
  • Build skills in your team by offering coaching, training, and development opportunities.
  • Set clear performance goals, track progress, and hold team members accountable.

Talent Acquisition Strategy

  • Work with company leaders to understand their workforce needs and create effective talent acquisition plans.
  • Oversee the entire recruitment process, from sourcing candidates and screening them, to conducting interviews, assessments, making offers, and handling onboarding.
  • Make sure all recruitment practices promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).
  • Develop and put in place recruitment policies, frameworks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that meet business requirements.

Compliance, Reporting, and Risk Management

  • Ensure all recruitment processes follow labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Keep accurate records of recruitment activities, create dashboards, and prepare reports for audits, compliance checks, and decision-making.
  • Provide regular updates to leaders on hiring performance, candidate pipeline health, time-to-fill rates, cost-per-hire, and other important metrics.
  • Implement fair, transparent, and consistent practices in all hiring activities.

Talent Management Integration

  • Partner with HR Business Partners and the Learning & Development team to integrate recruitment smoothly with onboarding and career development.
  • Help with workforce planning, succession planning, and building talent pipelines.
  • Support employer branding efforts to make the company an attractive place to work.

Skills and Personal Attributes

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, including 3 years in a people management role.
  • Proven success in leading and developing a recruitment team.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance requirements, labor laws, and best practices in recruitment.
  • Experience in creating and implementing recruitment policies and processes.
  • Good skills in data-driven reporting, using HR Information Systems (HRIS), and recruitment tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner and influence people at all levels of the business.
