The role is responsible for maintenance and repairs of all machinery and related Processing Plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Safety, Health and Environment

  • Carry and fulfil responsibilities of a MHSA Section 2.9.2 legal appointment.
  • Maintain FAMP policies, standards, and procedure requirements.
  • Prepare and execute scheduled routine maintenance in conjunction with production planning.
  • Champion the implementation of proactive maintenance and eliminate reactive maintenance by implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
  • Support operations by providing effective equipment maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and availability.
  • Manage parts and inventory.
  • Control maintenance costs effectively and prevent over-expenditure wherever possible.

Coordination

  • Issue work schedules and job cards.
