Position Overview
PPC seeks a qualified Forklift Driver/Operator Support professional to assist in clinker and milling plant operations at our Meyerton facility. This role combines equipment operation with plant support functions to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct continuous plant condition monitoring during shifts
- Operate multiple equipment types including forklifts, loaders, Bobcats, and tractors
- Report operational issues to plant operators and shift supervisors
- Maintain high safety standards and housekeeping protocols
- Execute maintenance and operational instructions from supervisors
- Monitor plant unit performance and safety compliance
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification
- ABET Level 4 in Numeracy and Communication
- 2+ years operational support experience
- 1+ year forklift operation experience
