Overview

The Youth Development Learnership aims to equip learners with the skills and experience necessary to thrive in a corporate environment. Combining classroom-based with practical work experience, the programme will prepare participants for a successful career. Throughout the learnership, learners will be responsible for completing tasks that contribute directly to business goals, such as research, project , , and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

During the programme, learners will be expected to:

  • Identify and escalate potential risks: Spot risks that could increase costs and report them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate cost consciousness: Be aware of how individual actions affect business expenses and minimize unnecessary costs.
  • Increase knowledge of financial processes: Gain a deeper understanding of financial systems while adhering to company standards.
  • Adhere to shared values: Uphold FNB’s core values and service standards, ensuring all customer interactions meet Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) guidelines.
  • Resolve customer dissatisfaction: Take ownership of customer issues, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
  • Communicate with customers: Maintain professional, courteous communication with customers.
  • Collect customer feedback: Gather insights from customers to improve service delivery.
  • Ensure product knowledge: Provide accurate product knowledge and advice to help customers find the best solutions.
  • Work with enhanced processes: Support operational efficiencies by using enhanced procedures and processes.
  • Ensure quality standards: Deliver high-quality service by adhering to the company’s quality standards.
  • Adhere to company policies: Follow company policies, ensuring accuracy in activity reporting and task completion.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must hold a Grade 12/Matric .
  • Be computer literate in MS Office.
  • No prior work experience is required.
  • Must be a South African citizen.
  • Age between 18 and 35.
  • Must be currently unemployed.
