Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to manage provincial financial operations including debtors, creditors, asset management, and accounting functions. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strong compliance awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Management: Oversee debtors’ allocations, creditor payments, and financial reporting
- Document Control: Maintain complete financial files and ensure regulatory compliance (HCPMA, PFMA, GRAP)
- Guarantee Administration: Process sectional title financial guarantees and manage release protocols
- System Operations: Utilize SAP for invoice processing, journal entries, and financial tracking
- Asset Management: Maintain fixed asset register and manage stock inventory
- Reporting: Prepare monthly variance reports and budget analysis
- Audit Coordination: Respond to internal/external audit queries and maintain audit trails
Essential Requirements
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in Accounting/Finance (Mandatory)
- 3+ years’ accounting operational experience
- Proven SAP system proficiency
- Working knowledge of public sector financial regulations
- Valid driver’s license and clear credit record
Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree/BTech in Accounting (NQF 7)
