Fidelity Cash Solutions is seeking a responsible and skilled Driver for the Parow branch. The role involves transporting crew members and custodians to collect and deliver client funds, while ensuring all deliveries and collections are properly documented.
Minimum Requirements:
- Clear Criminal Record: No prior criminal history.
- PSIRA Accreditation: Minimum of Grade C qualification.
- CIT Certificate: Cash in Transit (CIT) certification required.
- Firearm Competency: Minimum handgun qualification (for business purposes).
- Driver’s License: Valid Code C1 (minimum) with a valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- Experience: At least 2 years’ experience in the security industry or similar role (preferred at FSG).
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
- Work Environment: Ability to work under pressure.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Cash Collection and Delivery: Take full responsibility for collecting and delivering clients’ funds.
- Communication: Maintain radio contact with controllers and report any delays or issues to the Operations Manager immediately.
- Safety and Security: Take preventive action against any suspicious activity, ensuring incident prevention and reporting.
- Vehicle Management: Conduct vehicle audits, complete checklists, and handle all necessary documentation for accidents or incidents.
- Operational Accountability: Ensure the responsible operation of the vehicle and adherence to company procedures.
