Department: Public Safety – Emergency Management Services (EMS)

Remuneration: R64,033.65 per month (Basic salary, excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate
  • Bachelor’s Degree or B-Tech in Public Administration/Business Administration (NQF 7)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 8+ years relevant experience including 3+ years supervisory/managerial experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic support to EMS Chief’s Office
  • Manage financial planning and project budgets
  • Oversee procurement processes and office operations
  • Coordinate performance management systems
  • Ensure efficient information management systems
  • Maintain compliance with MFMA and municipal policies

Required Competencies

  • Advanced report writing and communication skills
  • Strategic planning and project management
  • Financial management expertise
  • Knowledge of municipal legislation/labour laws
  • Strong organizational/time management abilities
  • High level of confidentiality and integrity
