Position Details
Department: Public Safety – Emergency Management Services (EMS)
Branch: Office of the Chief
Location: Martindale, Johannesburg
Remuneration: R64,033.65 per month (Basic salary, excluding benefits)

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Bachelor’s Degree or B-Tech in Public Administration/Business Administration (NQF 7)
- Valid driver’s license
- 8+ years relevant experience including 3+ years supervisory/managerial experience
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Core Responsibilities
- Provide strategic support to EMS Chief’s Office
- Manage financial planning and project budgets
- Oversee procurement processes and office operations
- Coordinate performance management systems
- Ensure efficient information management systems
- Maintain compliance with MFMA and municipal policies
Required Competencies
- Advanced report writing and communication skills
- Strategic planning and project management
- Financial management expertise
- Knowledge of municipal legislation/labour laws
- Strong organizational/time management abilities
- High level of confidentiality and integrity
