Position Overview

Bombela Operating Company seeks an experienced Corporate Communications Specialist to support the development and implementation of strategic communication initiatives. This role requires a dynamic professional to enhance internal/external communications and protect corporate reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies
  • Create compelling content for digital platforms, press releases, and internal memos
  • Manage corporate social media channels and online engagement
  • Provide crisis communication support and strategic counsel
  • Coordinate corporate events and CSR initiatives
  • Monitor media coverage and prepare analytical reports
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging
  • Manage communication budgets and vendor relationships

Qualifications and Experience

  • National Diploma/Degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
  • 5+ years corporate communications experience
  • Proven crisis management expertise
  • Railway industry experience (advantageous)

Required Skills

  • Exceptional writing/editing abilities (English)
  • Digital media management (including basic graphic/video editing)
  • Advanced MS Office proficiency
  • Stakeholder engagement across all levels
  • Project/event management capabilities
