
Contract Administrator Position (Gauteng)
About the Role
The Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) seeks a qualified Contract Administrator to manage key operational functions supporting skills development initiatives. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in vocational training administration and contract management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stakeholder communication and service delivery for TETA initiatives
- Process and monitor grant claims and payments
- Implement mandatory grants programs including WSP verification
- Administer discretionary grant contracts including:
- Claims assessment and payment processing
- Contract amendments and document management
- Project monitoring and evaluation
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement events and workshops
- Support corporate governance processes and committee meetings
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in HRM, ETD or related field
- Valid driver’s license
Experience Needed:
- 3+ years administrative experience in ETD environment
- 1+ year contract management experience
- Public sector/SETA exposure (advantageous)
Knowledge Requirements:
- Knowledge of Skills Development legislation (SD Act, SD Levies Act, NSDP)
- Understanding of public sector finance (PFMA)
- Transport industry operations knowledge
