CIPC Graduate Internship Programme: Overview
The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), a member of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (dtic), is dedicated to youth skills development. We offer unemployed South African graduates the chance to gain practical work experience through our Internship Programme. This programme lasts for 24 months and is designed to help participants apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting.
What is the Internship Programme?
As approved by Cabinet in December 2002, this is a public service initiative aimed at unemployed graduates. It provides hands-on workplace exposure, allowing interns to build and practice the skills they learned during their studies for future careers.
Who Can Apply?
The programme is open to:
– Unemployed South African graduates who have completed a degree or diploma from a higher education institution.
– Graduates with no prior work experience.
– Those who have not previously participated in a similar internship programme.
– Applicants aged between 18 and 35 years old.
Stipend and Agreement
Interns receive a monthly stipend of R12,000.00. Selected candidates must sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement.

– Qualifications and South African citizenship will be verified for shortlisted candidates.

– You must be available for interviews at a time and place set by CIPC.
