Programme Overview

The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), a dtic entity, invites unemployed graduates to join our 24-month skills development programme. This internship provides practical work experience in innovation and intellectual property management within a government regulatory environment.

Candidate Requirements

  • South African citizen aged 18-35
  • Completed qualification in one of these fields:
    • BA Law (NQF Level 7)
    • BCom Law (NQF Level 7)
    • LLB (NQF Level 8)
  • No prior work experience in relevant field
  • Not previously participated in any government internship

  • National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in ICT (NQF Level 6+)
  • 10-15 years progressive IT leadership experience
  • Proven track record in:
    • Enterprise architecture frameworks
    • Technology governance implementation
    • Large-scale IT infrastructure management

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop enterprise architecture standards
  • Lead technology roadmap implementation
  • Oversaw R80M+ IT infrastructure projects
  • Manage cross-functional technical teams
  • Implement cybersecurity best practices
