The () Internship Programme aims to tackle youth unemployment by offering professional and generic internship opportunities. These internships are designed to provide meaningful work experience to young graduates and contribute positively to their career development.

Interns will be exposed to various functions within the organization, including but not limited to:

  • Performing entry-level tasks as assigned by unit supervisors.
  • Handling correspondence and inquiries, maintaining unit records and files.
  • Providing administrative support for budgeting processes within the unit.
  • Assisting with information gathering for audit preparations.
  • Collating data and preparing monthly and quarterly reports for units.
  • Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, and assisting in presentation preparations at least once per quarter.
  • Engaging in rotational planning to ensure exposure to different departmental tasks, with formal progress reviews at the end of each quarter.

Entry Requirements

  • Must be a South African citizen aged 35 years or younger with a valid South African ID.
  • Relevant post-matric qualification from a recognized higher education institution.
  • Applicants must not have participated in any previous SETA-sponsored internship programme.
  • Applicants must not have prior employment experience.
