Position Purpose:

Resolve labor disputes through conciliation, mediation, and arbitration while ensuring compliance with South African labor legislation. Contribute to effective dispute resolution services for the national labor market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct conciliation, arbitration, and con-arb proceedings
  • Draft legally binding settlement agreements and arbitration awards
  • Manage case documentation throughout dispute resolution processes
  • Provide statutory services per Labor Relations Act requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • NQF Level 6 qualification (Labor Law preferred) OR 4+ years labor relations experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Expert knowledge of LRA, BCEA, and EEA legislation
  • Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Computer literacy with case management systems

Advantageous Qualifications:

LDRP certification from accredited institutions including:

  • Nelson Mandela University (Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law Practice)
  • Stellenbosch University (Labour Dispute Resolution Certificate)
  • University of Witwatersrand (Dispute Resolution Practice Course)
