About the Role:

The CCMA seeks qualified candidates to resolve labor disputes through conciliation, mediation, and arbitration processes as per South African labor legislation. This full-time position requires expertise in labor relations and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct conciliation, arbitration, and mediation proceedings
  • Prepare detailed case documentation and legal rulings
  • Draft settlement agreements and arbitration awards
  • Ensure compliance with Labour Relations Act (LRA 66 of 1995)

Requirements:

  • NQF Level 6 qualification in Labour Law or related field
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in industrial relations/labor law
  • Valid driver’s license and computer literacy
  • Expertise in BCEA, LRA, and EEA legislation
  • Strong mediation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

Preferred Qualification: CCMA-endorsed Labour Dispute Resolution Practice certification from accredited universities

Records Management Officer – National Office

Lead information lifecycle management and implement records management strategies for the CCMA’s national operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop records management policies and procedures
  • Manage both physical and digital archives

  • Degree in Records Management or equivalent
  • 5 years’ experience in archives management (2 years supervisory)
  • Knowledge of electronic records systems
