Join our Retail Leisure Design Centre team as a vital contributor to our sourcing operations. This contract role offers hands-on experience in procurement and supplier management within a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct supplier research and vendor evaluation
- Manage purchase orders and delivery timelines
- Support quality control processes
- Assist in price negotiations and cost analysis
- Maintain inventory records and stock reports
- Collaborate with design teams on material specifications
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design or related field
- 1+ years procurement/sourcing experience (retail preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory systems
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills

Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service experiences
- Process sales transactions and maintain POS operations
- Implement visual merchandising standards
- Meet individual and team sales targets
- Manage inventory and stock presentation
Position Requirements:
- Matric certificate (Grade 12)
- 6+ months retail experience
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays
- Knowledge of current fashion trends

- Implement loss prevention strategies
- Develop staff through coaching and training
Management Requirements:
- 5+ years retail management experience
- Proven track record in high-volume stores (R20M+ annual turnover)
- Strong financial acumen
- Valid RSA driver’s license
