About the Role
We’re seeking a Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial insights and operational support within our Finance & Treasury division. This critical role serves as the bridge between finance operations and business units, driving performance through expert analysis and collaborative decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Develop and manage budgeting/forecasting models aligned with strategic objectives
- Prepare consolidated financial reports for Executive Committee and Board review
- Maintain accurate budget records in SAP financial systems
Business Partnership
- Act as strategic advisor to business unit leaders on financial matters
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate on financial aspects of organizational change initiatives
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Generate detailed financial reports with actionable insights
- Ensure accuracy of revenue reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintain compliance with IFRS/IAS reporting standards
Risk Management
- Implement continuous improvement of financial controls
- Monitor and update risk registers for business units
- Approve daily certificate of balance accounts
Requirements
Essential Qualifications
- CA(SA) or CIMA qualification
- Completed audit articles
- Active registration with SAICA/CIMA
Experience Needed
- 6+ years post-articles experience in:
- Financial business partnering
- Management accounting
- Strategic financial analysis
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- SAP ERP and BI platform proficiency
- Financial modeling expertise
