1. Chargehand Electrician

Position Details:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Trade Test Certificate (Electrician) + N3 Engineering Studies
- Valid Code B/EB Driver’s License with Dover B Symbol
- 3+ years’ post-apprenticeship experience (mining/industrial environment)
- 1+ year supervisory experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate electrical maintenance operations (surface & underground)
- Oversee installation and testing of electrical systems/equipment
- Conduct daily safety inspections and risk assessments
- Manage maintenance planning through EAMS/Oracle systems
- Lead team performance and compliance with OHSA standards
2. Chargehand Mechanic – C3

Position Requirements:
- Grade 12 + Mechanical Trade Certification
- N3 Engineering Studies Qualification
- Code B/EB License with Dover B Certification

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage mechanical maintenance teams and resources
- Implement preventive maintenance strategies
- Conduct equipment performance analysis
- Ensure compliance with mine safety regulations
- Coordinate with engineering and production departments
3. Safety Officer – C5

Salary Range: R420,000 – R580,000 p/a
Essential Qualifications:
- Grade 12 + NQF 6 Safety Management Diploma
- OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 Certification
- Valid Blasting Certificate (Hard Rock Mining)
- 5+ years’ safety officer experience (underground mining)
Key Duties:
- Implement comprehensive safety management systems
- Conduct incident investigations and RCA analysis
- Oversee health/safety compliance audits
- Develop emergency response protocols
- Facilitate safety training programs
4. Mine Survey Draughtsperson

Remuneration: Negotiable based on experience
Requirements:
- Grade 12 + Advanced Mine Survey Draughting Certificate
- National Diploma in Mine Surveying (advantageous)
- 3+ years’ underground mining draughting experience
Core Functions:
- Maintain accurate mine survey plans and records
- Produce statutory compliance documentation
- Update geological/ventilation mapping systems
- Coordinate GIS data management
