Role Overview
As Assistant Head Coach (Assistant Store Manager), you’ll partner with store leadership to deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving operational excellence at our Nike Visionary Store in Kenilworth.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Head Coach on store strategy implementation
- Lead and develop diverse retail teams (12-15 members)
- Optimize store operations to achieve sales targets (R4M-R6M annual)
- Manage key departments: Commercial, Athlete Experience, Inventory
- Implement digital initiatives and sustainability programs
- Analyze local market trends and consumer insights
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety protocols

Candidate Requirements
- 3+ years retail management experience (fashion/sport preferred)
- Proven track record in team leadership (5+ staff members)
- Fluent English + basic Afrikaans/Xhosa advantageous
- Flexibility for retail hours (including weekends/holidays)
- Tech proficiency: Retail POS systems, Microsoft Office 365
