Job Summary
We are eagerly seeking an Apprentice L1 to join our well-acclaimed team at Mercedes-Benz Bedfordview. Your main responsibilities will encompass vehicle fault diagnosis to expedite servicing, use of diagnostic equipment during examinations, and compliance with DCSA procedures and policies. The role also involves interaction with Service Advisors, response to breakdown calls, and ensuring the return of vehicles in pristine condition to the customers. The position provides an opportunity to attend training courses, assisting with other duties, and further professional development.
Position Overview
As an apprentice, you will report to the Line Manager. You will be tasked with repairing Passenger Cars & Vans following the dealership’s standards and specifications. The main aim is to get the task done in the most productive manner possible.
Responsibilities
- Offer a technical and diagnostic service in the service department
- Use modern diagnostic equipment efficiently in vehicle servicing and interpret findings
- Communicate with customers about service details as requested
- Perform electric equipment servicing as required
Qualifications and Experience
- Completer of Grade 12, with a focus on Maths and Physical Science
- N2 indicator in Engineering Science, Technical Drawing, Maths, Motor Trade Theory
- Hold a valid Driver‘s License
