This assures millions of SASSA grant beneficiaries that they will not have to change their SASSA Gold Cards and can reliably collect their grants, despite previous concerns regarding their validity.

Last year, cardholders were advised to renew their cards by December 31st. However, this is no longer necessary as your old SASSA Gold Card remains functional.

In this regard, Dr Bongani Diako, a spokesperson for Postbank, urged state grant recipients to disregard any misleading information that suggests they need to switch to other banks as he confirmed that the old gold cards are not being replaced.
