The opportunity arises from the Chief Directorate: Emergency and Medical Services Support at the College of Emergency Care which is a part of the Department of Health.
Offered Salary:
The position offers a competitive salary of R125,373 annum.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum requirement: Basic numeracy and literacy.
- Experience: Appropriate experience as a Cleaner in a training environment/ hospital/Health Facility environment/ or other areas with an influx of people.
- Inherent requirement of the job: Willingness to work extra hours, and on weekends when required.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining the premises to ensure a safe and hygienic environment, including sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of floors, dusting, polishing of floors & furniture, cleaning of windows, light shades, walls, toilets, sluices, and drains.
- Performing health and safety duties and assisting with catering during meetings.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment, such as polishing and scrubbing machines, mops, brooms, buckets, ensuring they’re clean after use and securely stored.
- Providing relief and assistance in other programs as per the service requirements.
