Job Description

Overview The Practice Support department has an immediate opening for a Business AdministrationIntern. The suitable candidate will be responsible for administrative activities relating to theMarketing and HR functions. Do you have great administration and prioritising skills? Are you an energetic person who hasan eye for detail? Are you a self-motivated individual and enthusiastic about serving others? Ifthe above describes you, then we would like to hear from you. We are looking for a good teamplayer to support our team. Minimum requirements:Grade 12 (Matric);Degree or Diploma in Business Administration;Solid computer literacy a must;Good typing and administration skills;Excellent communication skills (verbal and written);Strong attention to detail and accuracy;A strong sense of teamwork;Ability to prioritize work efficiently;Deadline driven;Ability to maintain composure during stressful situations occurring as a result of workloads and / or deadlines;Use initiative and follow through on tasks;Good interpersonal skills;Punctual, flexible and reliable;Good work ethics. Key responsibilities of the Business Administration Intern will include, but not limitedto:Monitor social media pages for any comments and respond and share content whererequired;Assisting in the creation of social media content;Assist with internal marketing efforts, including events and internal marketinginitiatives;Assistance with basic website administration;Updating personal LinkedIn Profiles where required/coordinating efforts to get pagesupdated;Creation of databases to assist with directors’ campaigns;Ensure monthly statistics of possible leads are sent to all professionals;Assistance with submissions to legal directories;Assistance with events and seminars;Assisting with the execution of marketing campaigns;Assist with creative briefs to designers for small projects;Digital ad administration;Assistance with appointments and quotes of suppliers;Management of employee onboarding process;Management of employee leave and time and attendance;Recruitment of semi-skilled and levels below;Management of employee exit process;Assisting with provident fund, medical aid and EAP admin;Conducting of performance appraisal and probation meetings;Updating of HR database.
