Position Overview
Lead ATNS’s strategic RDI initiatives to drive aviation technology innovation and support long-term organizational sustainability. This executive role requires shaping the company’s research agenda while ensuring alignment with global ATM advancements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement RDI strategy aligned with business objectives
- Manage RDI budget (ZAR 25M+ projected)
- Lead team of 15+ researchers and technical specialists
- Drive commercialization of new ATM technologies
- Ensure ISO 9001 compliance across all RDI projects
Requirements:
- Postgraduate degree in STEM field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years leadership experience in technical R&D
- 5+ publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Proven track record in aviation technology development
2. Building Administrator (Multiple Locations)
Locations: Upington & Cape Town
Position Type: Permanent
Salary: R180,000 – R240,000 p/a
Core Functions:
- Manage maintenance of 50+ ATNS facilities nationally
- Coordinate OH&S compliance across all sites
- Supervise 10+ service providers
- Implement emergency preparedness protocols
Requirements:
- Matric certificate with technical qualifications
- 3+ years facilities management experience
- Valid driver’s license (Code 8)
3. Risk Officer
Location: Kempton Park
Closing Date: Open until filled
Salary: R350,000 – R450,000 p/a
Key Functions:
- Implement enterprise risk framework
- Conduct risk assessments for 1500+ staff
- Manage GRC software system
- Develop business continuity plans
Requirements:
- BCom Risk Management degree
- 2-3 years enterprise risk experience
- IRMSA certification preferred
