Job Description

A Warehouse Reach Truck Operator is responsible for moving goods and materials from one place to another. The operator loads, unloads, sorts, and handles supplies systematically. They also perform daily inspections of the vehicle and maintain a valid license.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the forklift following standard operating procedures.
• Follow stacking rules and regulations.
• Work in a systematic and organized manner.
• Identify and suggest corrective actions when needed.
• Report any wastage.
• Conduct necessary checks and inspections on the forklift.
• Report deviations to the supervisor.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and report unsafe practices.
• Maintain personal and factory hygiene standards.
• Keep equipment and work area clean.
• Perform basic forklift maintenance.
• Adhere to HACCP and BRC principles.
• Assist in assembling pallets for dispatch or production.
• Inspect incoming deliveries as per SOP and confirm correct goods are unloaded and signed for.
• Assist with stock counts and CHEP pallet counts.
• Stack newly received goods as instructed by the Warehouse Controller.
