POPIA Statement

Purpose Statement
SABS invites unemployed graduates to apply for a one‑year Internship Programme starting in April 2026. The programme provides practical work exposure, mentoring and learning opportunities aligned with organisational and national skills priorities.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R8,000.00 for the duration of the programme.
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen
- Aged between 18–35 years
- Completed a relevant qualification
- Minimum 80% academic average for the completed qualification
- No formal work experience related to the field of study
- Must be currently unemployed

Failure to submit all required documents will result in disqualification.
Selection Process
Qualification verification will be conducted. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. If you do not receive feedback within 30 days after the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.

Duties and Responsibilities
The programme is designed to equip youth with meaningful exposure through structured learning and practical workplace experience.
- Participate in structured training and development initiatives as part of the Youth Development Programme.
- Gain practical workplace experience through rotational assignments and hands‑on learning.
- Assist with departmental projects, research and administrative tasks as required.
- Apply academic knowledge in a practical work environment.
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn, grow and contribute to team objectives.
- Comply with organisational policies, procedures and professional standards.
- Submit progress reports and complete assessments as required during the programme.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
