About the Job

ABSA Group is a leading African bank with over 100 years of experience. We are looking for an Operations Consultant to manage the return, disposal, and remarketing of vehicles for our Vehicle Management Solutions (AVMS) team. The role focuses on auction results, coordination with disposal agents, accurate reporting, invoicing, and stock reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain disposal and stock reports in the required formats.
• Classify vehicles by risk based on stock ageing and apply risk indicators.
• Reconcile disposal agent stock lists with internal systems and flag discrepancies.
• Prepare preliminary stock reports for physical counts.
• Submit verified stock reports to Finance on time.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including:
  • Daily UV Sales reports to track vehicle sales performance.
  • Weekly auction reports to monitor auction sales and follow up on payments.
  • Monthly UV Sales and stock reports to meet reporting deadlines.
• Generate pro‑forma and system invoices for vehicle purchases.
• Ensure invoices are raised promptly after approvals and receipt of funds.
• Support financial accuracy by submitting reports and invoices on time.
• Liaise with disposal agents, Product Managers, Fleet Risk Consultants, and Finance.
• Provide accurate information for approvals, risk assessments, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Higher Certificate or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in Managed Maintenance, Operating Leasing, or Fleet Management.
• Experience in managing risk, asset remarketing, and disposals within a fleet environment.
• Higher Diploma in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (required).
