About the Role

We are looking for a Despatch Controller to manage the day‑to‑day operations of finished goods in our warehouse. The role requires strong organisational skills, a focus on safety and quality, and the ability to lead a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure cycle counting is performed on time and procedures are followed.
• Minimise waste, write‑offs and product damage.
• Control and maintain the forklift fleet.
• Manage finished goods stock to reduce risks of damage or spoilage.
• Maintain safety standards and enforce discipline in the warehouse.
• Lead a small team, encouraging teamwork and 5S practices.

• Solid knowledge of warehousing and distribution.
• Computer literate – MS Office.
• Ability to implement SOPs and promote ethical conduct.
• Delegation, planning and scheduling skills.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum matric and a relevant tertiary qualification in stock control or warehousing, or currently studying toward a TMA qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience in a warehousing and distribution environment.
• Computer literacy.
• Ability to identify products by product code.
• Experience in stock management.
