About the Internship

Key Responsibilities

• Review applications and requests submitted to the regulator for adequacy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist in conducting surveys for radiological contamination at specific sites.
• Participate in indoor radon related activities as scheduled.
• Help extract samples for laboratory analysis when necessary.
• Attend technical webinars, seminars, workshops, training sessions, and meetings.

Requirements

• Grade 12 completion.
• NQF Level 7 qualification in Natural Sciences or Radiation Science.
• No prior work experience required; this is an entry‑level internship.
• Must not have previously participated in an internship or learnership programme.
• South African citizenship.
• Interest in skills development and training.
