Key Responsibilities
- Review applications and requests submitted to the regulator for adequacy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in conducting surveys for radiological contamination at specific sites.
- Participate in indoor radon related activities as scheduled.
- Help extract samples for laboratory analysis when necessary.
- Attend technical webinars, seminars, workshops, training sessions, and meetings.
Requirements
- Grade 12 completion.
- NQF Level 7 qualification in Natural Sciences or Radiation Science.
- No prior work experience required; this is an entry‑level internship.
- Must not have previously participated in an internship or learnership programme.
- South African citizenship.
- Interest in skills development and training.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
