About the Internship

Macsteel is offering a 12‑month intensive internship in our Human Resources Department. The role is designed to give you hands‑on experience across a range of HR functions while building a solid foundation in HR practices and organisational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment and selection activities.
• Support onboarding and induction of new employees.
• Provide industrial relations support.
• Help facilitate training and development programmes.
• Assist with payroll support and HR reporting.
• Contribute to governance, compliance and risk management tasks.

Requirements

• Current enrolment or completion of a BAdmin, BCom, Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Industrial Psychology.
• Age 20–28 years.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Computer literacy – proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Problem‑solving, planning, analytical and organisational skills.
• Good time‑management and ability to work independently.
• Commitment to complete the full 12‑month internship.

Benefits

Interns will receive a monthly stipend.
