About the Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to support our parts warehouse operations. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring safety and efficiency in the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving / Inbound: Receive goods according to Volvo procedures, verify documentation, record discrepancies, and bin parts correctly.
• Outbound: Process customer orders, pick, pack, and dispatch parts accurately, update the system, and support workshop technicians.
• Credit Notes: Check, sign off, and file credit notes, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
• Stock Management: Conduct daily perpetual stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and update the system after authorization.
• Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse clean, parts stored correctly, waste collected, and perimeter secure.
• Exchange Parts: Receive and store customer parts, prepare supplier returns, and label core parts for return to PDC.
• Health & Safety: Follow all Volvo health and safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Diploma in Warehouse Management or at least three years of warehousing experience.
