Role Overview

As an Event Management Engineer, you will monitor alarms from Logicmonitor and other tools, open incidents in the ticketing system, and notify customers of events within defined SLAs. You will work closely with third‑party suppliers, manage planned maintenance, perform remote diagnostics, and provide advanced troubleshooting. Your goal is to keep customers satisfied and ensure all requests meet or exceed service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor alarms and open incidents in the ticketing system.
  • Notify customers of events and maintain SLA compliance.
  • Contact suppliers for support calls and updates.
  • Manage planned maintenance and communicate downtime impacts.
  • Perform remote diagnostics and escalation to senior engineers when needed.
  • Handle phone calls and emails from customers and internal teams.
  • Document incidents, capture repeat faults and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Assist with customer projects and support administration tasks.
  • Attend Change Advisory Board meetings and customer technical meetings.
  • Maintain technical documentation and identify gaps.
  • Support technical audits for key customers.

0–1 year of general IT experience.

Qualifications

  • National High School Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
  • CompTIA A+ (preferred).
  • CompTIA N+ (preferred).
