About the Role
The Administrator will support the creditors and accounts payable team by processing transactions accurately and on time. The role follows established procedures and service level agreements to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process creditors and accounts payable transactions according to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Follow governance and compliance guidelines.
- Identify and solve operational issues; raise unresolved matters to management.
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with policies.
- Report on work activities to support decision making.
- Prepare and submit reports on time as required by policy.
- Prepare remittance advice and reconcile with creditor statements within set time frames.
- Reconcile all accounts in the creditors’ ledger and resolve outstanding or disputed items to meet payment terms.
- Deliver services that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to achieve operational objectives.
- Participate in learning initiatives to improve work quality and develop skills.
- Live up to company values and demonstrate professionalism.
Minimum Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Advantageous: Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance.
