Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable General Assistant to support our kitchen and dining operations. The role involves helping chefs with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and dining area.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and cooks with meal preparation.
• Place entrees, salads, desserts, and other foods on the serving line.
• Keep the serving line stocked and clean at all times.
• Record and store any food leftovers safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the canteen tables, kitchen, and surrounding areas.
• Carry out reasonable requests from management.
• Support other duties as needed, even if outside the usual scope.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Grade 12 or National Certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Culinary qualification is an advantage.
