Job Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all insurance claims are handled efficiently and that payments for valid claims are made to claimants in a timely manner. You will manage a claim from its initial submission through to final settlement.
Key Requirements
- Tertiary qualification (any relevant field)
- 1–2 years of administration experience
- Additional insurance‑related qualifications are an advantage
Responsibilities and Key Result Areas (KRAs)
- Assess the validity of all claims submitted through EasyPay Insurance.
- Evaluate claims and determine the necessary documentation and information.
- Process new insurance claim notifications promptly.
- Collect accurate information and documents required to proceed with a claim.
- Analyse submitted claims and monitor their progress.
- Maintain accurate records of all claims assessed in accordance with departmental procedures.
- Ensure fair settlement of valid claims.
- Assist claimants with guidance on how to proceed with their claim.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.
- Provide excellent customer service in line with industry and company guidelines.
- Handle any complaints related to claims.
- Adhere to industry regulations and the “Treating Customers Fairly” guidelines.
- Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely resolution.
