About the Programme
The Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Trainee Programme is an 18‑month learning experience designed to give students and recent graduates hands‑on workplace exposure. Participants will apply academic knowledge in real projects, receive mentorship, and develop industry‑specific skills that boost employability.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with specific projects in a department or work‑stream.
- Perform routine operational tasks under supervision.
- Support administrative functions such as documentation and reporting.
Learning & Development
- Attend training sessions, workshops, and mentorship programmes.
- Shadow experienced professionals to gain practical insights.
- Engage in problem‑solving activities to sharpen analytical skills.
Communication & Collaboration
- Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to understand business needs.
- Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and project progress.
- Serve as a central contact point for queries and assistance.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Maintain ethical and professional standards.
- Keep confidentiality and integrity in all tasks.
Research & Analysis
- Conduct market research, data collection, and analysis to support business decisions.
- Prepare reports and presentations using MS Office tools.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric certificate or equivalent.
- Relevant N6 qualification in Transport & Logistics or Business Management.
- South African citizen.
- Age 18–35.
- Preference for people with disabilities.
- No bursary obligation with another company.
- Proof of certified matric certificate, academic record, ID copy, and TVET college experiential learning letter.
