Legal Assistant (RL01)

Key Responsibilities

Legal Support & Operations:

  • Assist with preparing, formatting, and organizing legal documents, correspondence, and presentations while keeping information confidential.
  • Conduct basic legal research and gather information to support legal counsel.
  • Maintain accurate legal files, databases, and document systems according to company standards.
  • Track deadlines, filings, and compliance tasks for legal matters.

Administrative & Executive Support:

  • Manage the Legal Executive’s calendar, meetings, and appointments, including internal committees and external engagements.
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments, external legal advisors, regulatory bodies, and business partners.
  • Draft, proofread, and distribute internal communications, meeting minutes, briefs, and reports.

Project Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Support legal projects by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Monitor progress and follow up on action items to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in coordinating internal training sessions, workshops, and compliance briefings.

Requirements

  • Degree in Legal Studies or Paralegal-related qualification and experience.
  • Previous experience supporting senior legal counsel in a law firm or corporate legal department is a plus.
  • Familiarity with legal research tools and compliance frameworks.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Advanced organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor to engage confidently with senior leadership and external parties.
  • Proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to anticipate needs.
