  • Appropriate security experience within a healthcare institution.

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills)

  • Be responsible, diligent, and able to work under pressure. Good communication skills (verbal and written). Knowledge of security-related rules, regulations, procedures, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team and independently.

Registration with a Professional Council

  • Candidates must be registered as a Security Officer Grade B or higher with the Security Board under the Security Industry Regulatory Authority Act (PSIRA).

Duties (Key Result Areas/Outputs)

  • Manage contracts for private security and handle crowd control. Monitor patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fencing. Control keys and all security documents. Investigate crimes and incidents, write reports and statements. Supervise in-house and outsourced security officers, and apply disciplinary processes to subordinates. Monitor the effectiveness of the CCTV control room and access/egress controls.

Minimum Educational Qualification

  • Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification.
