Experience:

  • Some experience in Human Resource Management. Some experience with PERSAL system.

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills):

  • Basic computer skills (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Basic knowledge of Human Resource Management.

Duties (Key Result Areas/Outputs):

  • Handle all administrative tasks in the personnel section, such as appointments, ending services, transfers, pensions, salaries, leave, housing, injury on duty, distributing pay slips, managing debts, verifying documents and qualifications.
  • Enter transactions on the PERSAL system. Respond to all personnel inquiries and correspondence (written and verbal). File personnel data, policies, regulations, and circulars. Keep registers for PILIR, RWOPS, appointments, service terminations, and audit personnel/leave records. Help with recruitment and selection processes.
  • Assist staff, supervisors, management, and the public with Human Resource and personnel matters. Provide effective support to your supervisor, including relief duties and attending meetings.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

  • Senior Certificate (or equivalent).
