Essential Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or National Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • 5 years or more of supervisory experience, especially in water and sanitation.
  • Proven skills in project management.
  • Good knowledge of computer tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, the internet, and specialized software like flow charts.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Manage operations and maintenance for current, medium-term, and long-term projects.
  • Estimate quantities and costs for all water and sanitation requests in the district.
  • Handle performance and personnel management.
  • Oversee financial management.
  • Manage operations, maintenance, communication, and administration.
  • Survey planned sewer and water lines in the town.
