Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality is a local municipality in the Harry Gwala District Municipality, in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It was formed after the 2016 municipal elections by combining the Ingwe and Kwa Sani local municipalities.

Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
- Traffic Officer’s Diploma.
- Registration as a Traffic Officer/Examiner with the Department of Transport. Valid Peace Officer Certificate.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of traffic management laws, regulations, ordinances, and by-laws.
- Ability to work under pressure and for long hours.
- Valid driver’s license.
- No criminal record or pending cases.
- Strong communication skills in English and IsiZulu.
Key Performance Areas:
- Carry out traffic law enforcement duties, including using law enforcement equipment.
- Help with the administration and processing of traffic fines.
- Oversee the handling of offenses and respond to public inquiries. Provide general support to the Traffic Unit and other traffic administration tasks.
- Perform school patrol duties.
- Manage road traffic accidents.
- Attend court for traffic violation cases.
- Control traffic and secure the accident scene.
- Ensure all relevant parties are at the accident scene.
- Clear curious bystanders from the accident scene.
