Experience

  • Appropriate experience in cleaning, contract management, waste management, and personnel or office management.

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills)

  • Computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel, plus knowledge of the Cost Centre Requisition System (Health Technology – Clinicom Production).
  • Understanding of HR policies, disciplinary codes, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Duties (Key Result Areas/Outputs)

  • Manage cleaning and hygiene in assigned areas, including supervising staff and contractors, and handling waste management.
  • Provide safe, cost-effective cleaning services, including oversight of agency staff according to contracts.
  • Handle personnel tasks such as allowances, paysheets, and leave applications.
  • Support human resource management, including staff exits, recruitment, selection, performance reviews, meetings, and register monitoring.
  • Control stock effectively and place orders as needed.

Minimum Educational Qualification

  • Senior certificate (Grade 12 or equivalent).
