Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and trend key core parameters.
  • Apply neutronic codes.
  • Calculate cycle-specific parameters.
  • Support the Operating department.
  • Perform outage-specific nuclear fuel activities.

Qualification(s):

  • BSc Honours Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Physics/Mathematics/Applied Radiation Sciences and Technology/Engineering Sciences at NQF8 with 480 credits

Related Minimum Experience:

  • 2 years’ related experience in managing and controlling all nuclear fuel related activities on site.

Professional Registration

  • Professional Registration with South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP) as a Certificated Natural Scientist
