We have exciting opportunities in Clicks stores for Beauty Assistants. You will report to the Store Manager and service the entire beauty department.

Job Description

Job Purpose:

• To provide excellent service by offering professional advice on beauty and skincare products. Promote and manage merchandise effectively, and maintain general housekeeping to build customer loyalty and boost sales.

Job Objectives:

• Consult with customers, answer questions about products, and recommend the best items and services to meet their needs.
• Drive sales in the beauty department by promoting products, cross-selling, and up-selling to meet monthly targets.
• Monitor sales, evaluate product performance regularly, and suggest improvements to increase sales and offerings.
• Stay updated on all beauty products, ranges, trends, promotions, and events to give accurate information to customers.
• Handle all operational tasks in the beauty department efficiently, including stock management, reducing shrinkage, and keeping high standards of housekeeping and administration.
• Ensure visual merchandising, in-store presentation, and promotional standards in the beauty department are always met.
• Deliver top customer service by acting as a brand ambassador, being visible, and providing friendly, professional assistance.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard and sign up new members to reach clubcard participation goals.
• Boost profitability and customer loyalty by promoting private label and exclusive products.
• Make the brand the customer’s top choice for health and beauty retail by living and promoting company values.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Essential: Grade 12
• Desirable: Relevant beauty or skincare qualification
• Desirable: Experience in beauty, skincare, retail, FMCG, sales, or marketing
