Key Performance Areas
- Provide effective administrative support in processing service terminations.
- Manage the leave process, including implementing the Policy and Procedure on Incapacity Leave and Ill-Health Retirement (PILIR).
- Process leave gratuities and discounting.
- Administer service benefits.
- Handle pension withdrawal processes.
- Ensure the effective and efficient use of resources.
Prerequisites
- Grade 12 or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A certificate or qualification in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.
Person Profile
Knowledge, Competencies, and Skills:
- Knowledge of human resource policies, legislation, and practices, plus the ability to enter data and use a computer.
- Working knowledge of the legislative framework for the Public Service.
- Understanding of human resource administration practices.
- Report writing skills.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Computer literacy.
- Strong organizing skills, problem-solving abilities, client focus, accuracy, and attention to detail.
