Key Performance Areas
- Clean offices, storerooms, corridors, elevators, and boardrooms.
- Dust surfaces, remove waste, and provide water during meetings.
- Refill water coolers.
- Wash walls and windows.
- Clean equipment and machinery.
- Clean windows and general kitchen utensils.
- Scrub toilets and polish office floors.
- Vacuum clean using a vacuum machine.
- Provide toilet paper in restrooms.
- Keep and maintain cleaning materials and equipment.
Prerequisites
- Grade 10 or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
Person Profile
Knowledge, Competencies, and Skills:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Ability to read and write.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal relations and knowledge of Batho Pele Principles.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of how to operate cleaning equipment.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.

- Ability to perform manual work.
- Show commitment and loyalty.
- Must be punctual, productive, and behave well towards customers.
- Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles, health and safety measures.
