Introduction

Job Purpose

To assist the Store Manager in running the store efficiently and delivering top service. Focus on driving sales and customer loyalty to meet sales, profit, and compliance goals, creating an advantage for the brand.

Job Objectives

  • Achieve the store’s financial goals by boosting sales through promotions, cross-selling, up-selling, and great customer service across the team.
  • Handle all store operations smoothly, including expenses, stock control, loss prevention, housekeeping, and administration.
  • Set up in-store visual merchandising to meet presentation and promotion standards, keeping the store’s look aligned with the brand.
  • Help the Store Manager motivate and guide staff to hit targets and manage the team when the manager is away.
  • Assist in creating daily work schedules following company labor policies to keep all departments fully staffed.
  • Run customer service programs that create positive experiences, build loyalty, and meet club card targets.
  • Manage administrative tasks efficiently, such as submitting weekly time and attendance records to HR.
  • Promote the brand as the top choice for health and beauty by living the company values.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Essential: Grade 12 (at least 50% in Maths and English)
  • Essential for external applicants: Relevant Retail or Business Management qualification
  • Desirable: Degree in Retail or Business Management
  • At least 1 year in an assistant store management role in retail or FMCG, or completion of the Clicks Trainee Store Management Programme
  • Experience in financial management (budgets, profit and loss, financial ratios)
