Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12/Matric certificate and a Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant Qualification that allows registration with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) as a Qualified Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant.
- Registration Certificate with the SAPC as a Post-Basic Pharmacist Assistant, including proof of payment for current annual fees.
- Less than five (5) years of appropriate experience after registration as a Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic) with the SAPC. Computer literacy (MS Office). Applicants must be prepared to undergo medical surveillance.
Duties
- Knowledge of own discipline, relevant legislation, regulations, policies, implementation, information management, quality assurance and improvement programs, leadership, and communication.
- Problem-solving skills, stress tolerance, self-confidence, objectivity, and empathy. Familiarity with standard operating procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
