Key Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks and operate heavy-duty warehouse machinery.
- Able to lift heavy equipment and supplies, and work with cleaning materials.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Good physical health.
- Basic numerical skills to issue stock and handle incoming and outgoing buy-outs according to the Accounting Officer System (AOS).
- Ability to safely and correctly handle warehouse equipment.
Main Duties:
- Assist with general tasks in the stores area.
- Deliver stock and buy-outs to different departments.
- Clean the transito area and delivery area in the courtyard.
- Assist the asset management department.
- Support the supervisor by following the Code of Conduct.
Salary: R 138 486 – R 163 131 per annum, plus service benefits (13th cheque, employer’s contribution to the pension fund, housing and medical aid allowance).
Notes:
- No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post.
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo a practical test.
