  • Knowledge and understanding of basic engineering processes and procedural requirements for generation plants.

  • Knowledge of principles of fault calculations and discrimination.
  • Knowledge of maintenance practices related to all equipment that the Protection, Testing, and Maintenance (PTM) team is responsible for.
  • Knowledge of using different equipment supplier software.

  • Basic hand tool and wiring skills.
  • PC literate.
Attributes
  • For safety reasons, the candidate should be able to clearly identify different colors used to indicate plant status.
  • Must have the physical ability to handle monitoring and testing equipment.
  • Must have the physical endurance required to work in the plant.
  • Must be able to advise key stakeholders on the outcomes of fault analysis.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications
  • BTech Engineering OR National Higher Diploma Engineering
Related Minimum Experience
  • Five (5) years’ experience
